“Our Party” filed a request to the General Prosecutor's Office and the General Inspectorate of Police to investigate the unlawful actions of Pinzari

“Our Party” filed a request to the General Prosecutor’s Office and the General Inspectorate of Police (GIP) to investigate the actions of GIP Head Alexandru Pinzari. According to the lawyer’s conclusions, the Head of Moldovan police has infringed several laws by organizing the illegal wiretapping of private conversations, falsely accused the activists of “Our Party” for committing offences. The requests were registered on August 2, as prescribed by law.

“We demand the General Prosecutor’s Office to verify as to the lawfulness of the phone wiretapping of private conversations, how Pinzari has been legally revealed the investigation materials, is there any criminal files against individuals whose conversations were intercepted. The General Prosecutor’s Office has 30 days to give an answer” – informed the Vice Chairman of “Our Party”, Ilian Casu, after filing the requests.

“It’s hard to count on a substantial response, because both the leadership of the Prosecutor’s Office, Eduard Harujen, and the leadership of MIA, Jizdan, Pinzari, Cavcaliuc and the others – are like two hands of the one state captured by Plahotniuc, they have only one criminal protection – Plahotniuc, but we legally acted and has lodged a complaint against the police actions, - stressed out the Vice Chairman of “Our Party”, Dumitru Ciubasenco. We require Alexandru Pinzari for denying the slanderous information which was made public at the briefing by the policemen. He accused the activists of “Our Party” of having allegedly organized provocative actions in the center of Chisinau in order to compromise the leader of “Civil Platform DA”, Andrei Nastase.

As Ciubasenco and Casu stated, if Alexandru Pinzari will not answer to the submitted preliminary request, “Our Party” will take legal action to Court with request on for disproving the slanderous statements.

“We are asking for rejection of this police nonsense and we are ready to meet with Pinzari in Court”, Ciubasenco said.
