Usatyi: Grigorisin and Smulschii will make from the staff of the City Hall a mechanism that will work efficiently and smoothly
Yesterday at the meeting of Balti municipal council, new vice mayors have been elected - Nicolai Grigorisin and Ghenadie Smulschii. According to Renato Usatyi, they should “reinvigorate” the local administration, and within two months fully organize work, make from the “staff a mechanism that will work effectively and smoothly”.
- We appointed new vice mayors in Balti - Nicolai Grigorisin and Ghenadie Smulschii. The first will be responsible for the economic matters, the second - for the financial and economic ones. I proposed the candidates. The local administration should reinvigorate. The city needs manual control. This applies not only to Balti. Ambitious and smart people do not go to work in the mayor’s office for a salary of several thousand lei. Officials need a constant jolt. A whip, if you want. Grigorisin and Smulschii will make of this staff a mechanism that will work effectively and smoothly. They have two months to do this. If they will not succeed - we will launch a large-scale reform of the local administration and municipal enterprises. We have a majority in the council, we run the city and have an obligation to Balti residents”, Renato Usatyi, wrote in Facebook.
