Nicolae Grigorisin triumphantly, from the first round, won the mayoral elections in Balti!
The candidate of “Our Party” was supported by 61.74% of the voters of the northern capital.
Nicolae Grigorisin, the candidate of “Our Party” of Renato Usatyi became the new mayor of Balti. More than half of the citizens who came today to 58 polling stations opened in the municipality voted for him. The closest competitor of Grigorisin - a representative of the PSRM - Alexandr Usatyi obtained 19.33 % of votes.
The result of Elena Gritco – “reserve” candidate of the OP, who was registered as an independent electoral competitor - 1, 26%.
Grigorisin’s victory demonstrated the loyalty and support of Balti residents to the team of Renato Usatyi and the course of reforms chosen by him aimed at modernizing the northern capital. By their choice, the residents of Balti shown their reluctance to abandon their city to the mercy of Plahotniuc’s oligarchic system that seized the entire Moldova.
“Our Party” runs Balti Mayor’s office since June, 2015. At that time Renato Usatyi won from the first round with a score of 73%.
