Renato Usatyi was removed from the Interpol wanted list
On Friday, during a speech on march in Balti “For Fair Elections”, Renato Usatyi announced the news, which he received “literally 40 minutes before he went live”: he was removed from the Interpol wanted list.
“I’ve been waiting for this news more than 9 months. Tremendous efforts have been made outside of Moldova”, - Renato Usatyi said.
Later, the politician gave an explanation in the social network Facebook.
“Literally 40 minutes before my speech in Balti, on the march “For Fair Elections”, patriotic officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told me good news. This is good news for me and very bad for their chiefs and the entire leadership of Moldova. I’ve been waiting for this day for more than nine months. During this time, my lawyers from Moldova and the United Kingdom have done a great job, their mission was to transmit the full truth about the uncontrolled Moldovan justice to all international organizations. A special commission of Interpol, which includes police from all over the world, studied all the materials of my criminal case in Moldova and the grounds for putting me on the international wanted list. Today, all countries around which are members of Interpol, have been notified that I have been completely removed from the Interpol database and that I am no longer on the international wanted list. Quite an interesting situation happed ... I was removed from the international wanted list of Interpol, but I continue to be on the national wanted list. Vitalie Pirlog failed his main task. Thanks to all. See you”.
