The politician wrote about this on Tuesday on social media, noting that “a large volume of electricity has accumulated on the markets of the European Union at negative prices.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“A record was registered in the Netherlands, where the negative price per megawatt-hour reached 240 euros. This means that European producers not only give away electricity for free but also pay for you to take it because the production is too high, and there is nowhere to store the excess,” Usat\u00eei emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
According to Usatyi, it is necessary to diversify the import of electricity, which will allow lowering the price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“I’m not saying that Energocom should abandon electricity from the Moldovan GRES, but after all, nothing prevents them from buying electricity from Europeans and mixing it with ‘Cuciurgan,’ to get a lower price for citizens,” the politician believes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
