The chairman of “Our Party” Renato Usatii proposes to use the currency reserves of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) for economic development and support of citizens. As the agency INFOTAG reports, the politician said this within the Toutube progamme “Strength in Truth”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For the first time I came up with an initiative in 2021 to use the NBM reserves, they can be used for mortgages with zero interest rate for young people. That way people can be motivated to stay at home and not go abroad. The money from the national reserve can be invested in various projects for the development of the Moldovan economy, in order to develop the country and help the Moldovans,” the politician said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Usatii drew attention to the fact that at present, the NBM pays interest to commercial banks for the funds they are obliged to keep at the National Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“At the same time, we are forced to borrow money at inflated interest rates,” the leader of ‘Our Party’ noted.
