The chairman of “Our Party” Renato Usatii considers it necessary to resume the program “The Hour of Opposition” on the public TV channel Moldova 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Thursday evening on TV8, he said that since 2014, when he entered politics and was the mayor of Balti, he has never been invited to public television, which is financed by the money of all taxpayers of the republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“The opposition has the right to have a voice in the public space. That is why we demand the launch of the program “The Hour of the Opposition”, which should be aired twice a week. If this does not happen, we will go to Moldova 1 uninvited – just as we did in 2016. And if there are thousands of us, they won’t be able to restrict our access! We are not talking about my personal access to the public channel, but about the access of the whole opposition,” Usatii said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
According to Usatii, it would be possible that three days a week on Moldova 1 would be allocated to the authorities, while Tuesday and Thursday would be dedicated to the opposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“A channel financed with public funds should be impartial and give all citizens the right to objective information,” Usatii emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
