“Our Party” chairman Renato Usatii believes that the Dragalin-Raducanu scandal is the result of a “war: between different groups in the ruling PAS. According to INFOTAG, the politician said in an interview with the TV channel that the head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Veronica Dragalin, used in this scandal Tatiana Raducanu to discredit the pre-vetting procedure.
“There is a war of factions inside PAS. Knowing that they want to remove her, Dragalin is interested in making the so-called pre-vetting fail,” Usatii believes.
The politician believes that Dragalin “has already lost this war.”
“PAS is not just Maia Sandu. Sandu is the leader, but there are other groups fighting among themselves. Litvinenco (former Minister of Justice – “I.”) has his own group, Spinu (Minister of Infrastructure) and Grosu (Speaker of Parliament) also have their own group. Because of these squabbles inside PAS, we will be like Papuans to the whole world,” Usatii believes.
As INFOTAG previously reported, Raducanu resigned as a member of the Pre-vetting Commission after a letter signed by Dragalin was published in the press. It questioned Raducanu’s integrity.
