On Thursday, “Our Party” filed a preliminary application to the CEC against the commission’s refusal to register the Initiative Group to collect signatures for a referendum on early parliamentary elections.
One of the party’s leaders, Elena Gritco, said it was obvious to everyone that the CEC’s decision was illegal and unjustified.
“We will insist by all legal means on restoring justice to us and to the 70% of citizens who want early parliamentary elections. We will achieve this, because no verdict of the CEC can drown out people’s indignation at what PAS and Maia Sandu are doing,” Gritco said.
