“OUR PARTY” LEADER DISSATISFIED WITH FACT THAT “MOLDOVA IS GOVERNED FROM OUTSIDE”

“Current President Maia Sandu and former President Igor Dodon have bosses outside Moldova,” says “Our Party” chairman Renato Usatii. He stated on Tuesday evening during the podcast “Strength is in Truth” that “for almost all the years of independence, Moldova has been ruled from outside.”

“People are tired of both the current government and the opposition’s inaction. What is the current Bloc of Communists and Socialists doing! Once a year they tear up a map of Romania, say something and condemn the “collective West”. Soon there will be more deputies with Romanian passports in the Party of Socialists than in PAS. (…) If there were at least 7-8 deputies from “Our Party” in Parliament, Grosu (Speaker of Parliament) would speak exactly as much as he was allowed to. Any anti-social project would be blocked by us. We would become people’s auditors,” the politician stressed.

Referring to the constitutional referendum on Moldova’s European path of development, Usatii said that introducing a clause on Moldova’s development vector into the Constitution would not solve anything.

“Sandu’s biggest mistake is that she did not invite absolutely all parties to the discussion of the referendum idea. This referendum is comparable to the proposal: “Do you want your salary to be like in Europe – 10 thousand euros?”,” Usatii noted.
