The chairman of “Our Party” Renato Usatii called the delayed justice “arbitrariness”. The politician exposed the abuse of the ruling party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS).
The politician saw the “abuse” in the fact that on the eve of the parliamentary elections, the National Integrity Authority (ANI) annulled 112 sanctions imposed on various officials throughout the country.
“In March 2025, the PAS-controlled parliament adopted Law No. 34, which obliges ANI to review all the conclusions issued before 2021. We are talking specifically about conclusions related to conflicts of interest. Under this law, sanctions were annulled in more than 100 cases throughout Moldova against mayors, councilors, and school principals. Instead of applying the law fairly, PAS is rewriting it to protect some and possibly include others in its electoral list for the parliamentary elections,” the politician noted.
The politician considers it unacceptable that ANI, a state body called to protect incorruptibility, has been turned into a “political tool.”
“More than 100 cases have been annulled. The opposition has been punished. PAS has wiped its feet on these people. Why now? Is this an amnesty, justice or a political trick? Or maybe an attempt to wash away reputation before the parliamentary elections?” the politician asks.
