“OUR PARTY” LEADER: THERE SHOULD BE NO NATO BASE OR RUSSIAN ARMY ON MOLDOVAN TERRITORY

The chairman of “Our Party”, Renato Usatii, believes that there should be no foreign military presence on the territory of Moldova. In a TV program last weekend, the politician said that since 2014 he is the only politician in Moldova who says that there should be no NATO military base in Moldova, nor should there be any Russian army or troops of any other state.

“Our country cannot become a military superpower and measure its strength with someone else. I am happy that for the first time in two years of war in Ukraine there are some advances to end the war. Many of those who can be trusted, including in international politics, are making it clear that there is a pre-final stage of negotiations so that this war, which can have no justification, will finally end,” he said.
