Our Party (PP) chairman Renato Usatii said that influential figures are trying to persuade him to withdraw from the elections. He emphasized that this fact clearly shows that his participation in this election campaign is “hindered by many, both in the East and in the West.”
“Pressuring me and trying to force me to withdraw from this campaign only gives me the strength to continue, win and defend my victory! When I am told to ‘get out’ before Monday, citing health issues, it is obvious that I am indeed hindering someone. I have already said and I will repeat: I do not seek to please anyone from abroad. The only thing that matters to me is the support of people here in Moldova. In 2014, when I was excluded from the parliamentary elections, I had little political experience, but since then I have learned to fight. Today, I am ready for any scenario and I am determined to defend my victory,” emphasized the candidate, who, according to the polls, is now on the 2-3 place in the ranking of 11 presidential candidates.
He said he would promote “only the vector of national development based on the interests of the citizens of our country!”.
“If I hold out and win, it will be a clear signal to foreigners not to interfere any more in Moldova’s internal affairs!”, Usatii said.
