Education should not be a ticket to leave the Republic of Moldova, it should be the basis of the future built in the homeland. According to the INFOTAG agency, this was stated on Friday by the chairman of Our Party, Renato Usatii, in a congratulatory address to schoolchildren, teachers and parents on the end of the school year.
In his address, the politician emphasized that “education is the foundation of the country’s future.” He called for serious investments in the development of professional and higher education in Moldova.
Usatii emphasized that “Moldovan young people should build their future here at home, and not go abroad to get an education”. Among the proposed solutions are the modernization of the vocational education system, modern and well-equipped schools and colleges, which should train specialists in key professions: builders, electricians, mechanics, cooks, IT specialists.
“In parallel, it is necessary to open access to international level education right in Moldova – through branches of leading universities from the USA, China and Europe,” Usatii concluded.
