On Thursday, Renato Usatii, leader of the opposition Partidul Nostru (Our Party, OP), met at the OP headquarters with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Yan Wenbin. According to the party’s press service, the meeting was organized at the Chinese diplomat’s request.
During the conversation, Renato Usatii pointed out the dynamic development of China, saying that the Chinese economy is one of the most innovative economies in the world, with modern approaches and impressive rates of sustainable growth.
According to Our Party leader, the Chinese development model is a worthy example for inspiration for many other countries, including indeed the Republic of Moldova.
“We also discussed potential cooperation between the Primarias [town and village executive organs] led by Our Party and local administrations in China. The path of the People’s Republic of China, with its exceptional experience in the field of infrastructure, can provide significant assistance to our progress,” Usatii said.
The politician expressed gratitude to His Excellency the Ambassador for his attention to events taking place within Our Party and in the Republic of Moldova as a whole.
