RENATO USATII: PAS AND PSRM UNITED IN BALTI TO PROVOKE EARLY ELECTIONS

The ruling Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) party the Party of Socialists (PSRM) have united in Balti to provoke early elections. The chairman of “Our Party”, Renato Usati, said this on the air of the weekly program “Strength is in Truth!”.

The politician claims that this is the explanation for the removal of Balti Mayor Alexandr Petkov from the presidium in the Municipal Council.

“They want to create chaos in Balti, they don’t want to work, which is what we saw when they refused the posts of deputy mayors. I heard that they also want to initiate a referendum to remove Petkov. Let them initiate, we are in a democratic country, I understand that PAS is annoyed by the referendum I initiated at the national level to ask citizens if they want early parliamentary elections,” Usatii said.

He believes that the ultimate goal of PAS and PSRM actions in the city is “to strike a blow against the leader of Our Party on the eve of the presidential elections.”

On March 28, Balti Mayor Alexandr Petkov, elected to this position from “Our Party”, was suspended from the presidium in the Municipal Council at the initiative of the Socialists. Councillors from PSRM, PAS and the Party of Change voted in favor of this decision.
