President Maia Sandu’s speech in Parliament was filled with “sterile statements, geopolitics, and in some places even blackmail”. Such an assessment was given in his Telegram channel by the leader of “Our Party” Renato Usatii to the message of the head of state on Thursday.
“Maia Sandu did not present a single concrete solution to fight poverty and overcome the pressing problems of Moldovans. War, Ukraine, corruption, oligarchs, blackmail, international relations… Everything seems to sound right. But Moldova does not need sterile statements and theories. People are waiting for clear solutions to urgent problems. The economy is in crisis, jobs are shrinking catastrophically, pensions and salaries cannot keep up with the prices rising at a breakneck speed, exports have sharply decreased, investors are turning away from business,” the politician said, noting that the head of state did not say ‘anything concrete’ about it.
According to him, it is “the same song” and not a single real solution for the people and the country.”
“Sandu speaks as if she is in a TV studio, not leading a country in deep crisis. Moldova needs a plan to restart the economy, not empty promises; investments in villages and towns, not slogans at the microphone; unification of society, not its division and labeling; independent justice that protects the law, not power! We need a professional and responsible leadership that will work only for our citizens and for our country, ONLY FOR MOLDOVA!”, Usatii concluded.
