OUR PARTY LEADER CALLS ON PARLIAMENTARY MAJORITY TO DIALOGUE IN FORMING GOVERNMENT

Renato Usatii, Chairman of Our Party, called on the new parliamentary majority to “initiate a genuine dialogue with all factions to form a government of professionals.” The politician made this statement at a press conference on Friday, emphasizing that the Republic of Moldova “needs a functional government made up of specialists that will work in the interests of all citizens, not just the PAS electorate.”

Usatii emphasized that Our Party will support any well-founded initiative in the genuine interests of Moldovan citizens, but also expects other parliamentary factions to support its initiatives.

According to the leader of Our Party, which won six seats in the parliamentary elections, the party “respects the vote of every citizen, both those who voted for it and those who supported other competitors, regardless of whether they are on the right or the left.”

“Everyone promised to unite society during the election campaign. Now is the time to back this up with actions. Today, more than ever, the Republic of Moldova needs unity, stability, economic development, and improved well-being for its citizens. (…) We are going to work and will prove in practice that we will be both the voice of the people and a true opposition – for the first time in 30 years,” the politician assured.
