The leader of “Our Party” believes that “there is no doubt that the system created by PAS is completely rotten and that the state institutions of our country have been definitively seized by the current government.” He wrote about this on Wednesday on his facebook page.
According to him, “if anyone still had any doubts about this, the letter of Veronica Dragalin, which became public thanks to the former deputy director of the National Anti-Corruption Center, put a fat point in it.”
“Now we can absolutely say: the PAS government acts as a criminal group, this already goes beyond political responsibility, and this already implies responsibility in strict accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code,” the politician said.
In his opinion, the ruling PAS party allows serious abuses: the party substitutes the judicial system, bypassing the prosecutor’s office and the courts; takes over the management of elections, bypassing the CEC; assigns itself the functions of control over the media space; decides how to spend public money, bypassing the parliament and other controlling structures.
“This means that the state power in the country has been seized by the PAS party, which exercises it in its own interests. According to Article 339, part 1 of the Moldovan Criminal Code, actions committed with the aim of seizing or forcibly retaining state power are punishable by 10 to 15 years’ imprisonment,” Usatii emphasized.
