“Our Party” again called for the elections to be held on July 27. The formation made such a proposal after the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission spoke out in favor of holding elections in the fall – at the end of the allotted three-month period, which is in mid-July.
“Statements by the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission that parliamentary elections should be organized ‘as late as possible’ do not correspond to the interests of citizens. “Our Party” is ready to provide all the necessary expert support to hold parliamentary elections as soon as possible – July 27,” party spokesman Alexandr Berlinschi wrote on his Facebook page.
In his opinion, the authorities are unjustifiably “trying to stretch the terms of the elections.
“But Moldova needs a professional, responsible and legitimate government capable of meeting modern challenges. We will make every effort to ensure that the will of the voters is respected!”, Berlinschi said.
