RADIO MOLDOVA BANNED THE BROADCAST OF ONE OF RENATO USATII’S ELECTORAL SPOTS

Our Party presidential candidate Renato Usatii claims that the state radio station Radio Moldova has banned the broadcasting of one of his electoral spots. The candidate’s press service said that according to an official letter from Teleradio Moldova, “the reason for the refusal is that the commercial contains Renato Usatii’s phrase that he is in favor of banning LGBT propaganda in schools.”

“They cancel my commercial and demand to exclude the phrase that I am against LGBT propaganda in schools. We would sooner exclude the entire power of the Republic of Moldova than I would change my position. Their explanation is that “incitement to hatred” is forbidden on the radio. It’s not like I’m promoting racism. I just do not want our underage children, who can be easily manipulated, to be influenced in this way,” Usatii said.

He noted that “this decision of the management of the public broadcaster will be appealed tat The Court.”
