LEADER OF “OUR PARTY” CALLS FOR URGENT CONVOCATION OF SECURITY COUNCIL AND COMMISSION FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS TO PREVENT COLLAPSE

The chairman of “Our Party”, Renato Usatii, demands “the urgent convocation of the Commission for Emergency Situations and the Security Council to prevent a collapse in Moldova”.

He made such a statement in the context of the energy crisis in Moldova, expressing the opinion that President Maia Sandu “instead of going and supporting Romania, Georgia or Ecuador, should take care of national interests!”.

“There is a crisis in the country! Dorin Recean reassures that the blackout will only be for a few hours a day. The Emergency Commission and the Supreme Security Council must be convened immediately. We need to make sure that hospitals, kindergartens and schools are provided with enough generators so that patients do not die in hospital beds,” Usatii said.”

He expressed indignation that Sandu did not go to Kiev to discuss with Vladimir Zelensky the extension of the gas transit contract. “One should forget about personal interests when it comes to Moldova’s national interests!”, Usatii concluded.
