LEADER OF “OUR PARTY” PROPOSES TO HOLD PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS ON JULY 27

The chairman of “Our Party” Renato Usatii believes that “parliamentary elections should be held on July 27 to have time to prevent a new energy crisis next winter.” He expressed this opinion in an interview with Newsmaker, emphasizing that “this will allow to avoid new crises and solve important social and economic problems in time.”

According to him, the opposition should insist on this very date, because then it will be possible to approve the mandates of deputies in the first days of August, to form a government by the end of the month and promptly begin preparations for the winter period of 2025-2026, he said.


“This will make it possible to avoid the current problems in the energy sector, social sphere, etc., including indexing pensions not from April 1, but from January 1,” Usatii stressed.

Usatii warns that holding parliamentary elections in the fall will lead to the fact that a new government will be formed only in November, which is fraught with a crisis in the energy sector, problems with social payments and other vital areas.
