RENATO USATII DEMANDS FAIR PAYMENT FROM AUTHORITIES FOR THOSE WHO CONDUCT POPULATION CENSUS

The chairman of Our Party (OP), Renato Usatii, demands that the authorities pay fair wages to those who conducted the population and housing census.

He reported on Monday in his Telegram channel that “more than 5 thousand people involved in the census not only did not receive the promised money, but were also forced to return their windbreakers and backpacks.”

“I promise that I will sort this out! We will apply the dictatorship of the law so that everyone receives the money that was promised. If not from the budget, then the authorities will pay out of their own pockets!” the politician said, emphasizing that he had received many requests from census participants.

“They had 5,000 to 10,000 lei deducted from the initial contract amounts, and now they are being forced to sign new contracts. The promises of compensation for transport turned out to be a lie. They promised several thousand lei, but only 350 lei were given. The height of cynicism is that the organizers of the hiring demanded back the backpacks and windbreakers, allowing them to keep only caps and T-shirts. I will not be surprised if in the fall elections we see “good people” from PAS wearing these vests and with these backpacks,” Usatii joked.

“Technical problems with tablets and the lack of support from the Bureau of Statistics have led to the entire burden falling on the shoulders of supervisors. Many fictitious persons were brought in – relatives of those who work at the Bureau of Statistics. Many planned their vacations or preparing their children for school with this money, and now they can hardly hope to pay off their loan debts,” Usatii said.
