“All those responsible for the new increase in the price of natural gas should resign,” believes the chairman of ‘Our Party’ Renato Usatii. The politician said this after Moldova-Gas JSC requested a 33% increase in the gas tariff from the regulator.

“First, because they did not ensure the purchase of gas in the summer, when prices were lower. Secondly, because they deceived citizens by assuring them that the tariffs will not increase in this heating season. And this is despite the fact that in early fall we warned that after the elections the authorities would raise gas prices, and the prime minister accused us of “misinformation”. Third, they should leave because of the lack of transparency in negotiations with Gazprom,” the politician believes.

Usatii recalled that he had warned in advance that the authorities would raise gas tariffs after the presidential election. “They intend to raise not only the transportation tariffs, but also the price of gas for consumers right after the presidential election,” the leader of Our Party said on September 5, 2024, which Prime Minister Dorin Recean called a” lie.”

Usatii believes that Moldova needs a professional and responsible government.

“For this purpose, it is necessary to hold parliamentary elections as soon as possible, so that the country’s leadership would have deputies and ministers who work exclusively in the interests of the country’s citizens, only “For Moldova!”,” says the chairman of ‘Our Party’ Renato Usatii.
